Polly Jacobs is a dance artist committed to furthering the cause of contemporary dance through performance, choreography, teaching, research, and collaboration. Originally from Los Angeles, she attended New York University where she received her BFA in Dance and MA in Individualized Study, concentrating on anthropology of dance and dance history. Polly is currently based in Los Angeles where she runs Hexis Dance Company, an innovative contemporary dance company, as well as teaches and choreographs for schools, studios, and academies in the Greater Los Angeles area.
